Italy’s anti-drug education initiative has gone beyond one million informational booklets distributed in just one month. The initiative forms part of the Truth About Drugs campaign, which aims to provide clear information about commonly abused substances and their risks to young people and communities.
Approximately five hundred volunteers are eu news france participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in schools, businesses and urban centres. The campaign focuses on prevention through education, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a simple way.
The prevention effort is part of wider social programmes supported by the Church of Scientology, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
